Varia RTL515
The Garmin Varia RTL515 is a rearview radar and tail light system designed to heighten awareness and keep cyclists safe on open roads. It offers vehicle detection up to 153 yards (140 meters) behind you, delivering visual and audible alerts to compatible Edge® bike computers, Garmin wearables, or smartphones via the Varia™ app. Featuring daylight visibility up to 1 mile with a 220° viewing angle and multiple light modes—including Peloton mode for group rides—it provides up to 16 hours of battery life in day flash mode to power through long rides.
Riding with peace of mind has never been easier. The Garmin Varia RTL515 combines smart radar technology with a bright 65-lumen tail light in a compact, vertical design that mounts seamlessly to most bike seatposts. It tracks approaching vehicles from up to 153 yards away and alters its flashing pattern as traffic approaches to maximize driver visibility. With ANT+® and Bluetooth® LE connectivity, IPX7 water resistance, and a gentle Peloton flash mode that avoids blinding fellow cyclists, it serves as an essential safety tool for road cyclists and commuters alike.
